Rezny Studio Open House

Mary Rezny has been the greatest influence on my photographic success in Lexington, period. I had the great opportunity to intern for her when I was in grad school and have remained friends ever since. If you recall, she showed work here at Georgetown College in the Fall of 2006. My photo class even took a field trip to visit her.

This Friday she is hosting an open studio/house, featuring her work as well as artist Marco Logsdon. Her studio is located at 903 Manchester Street in the Distillery Art District of downtown Lexington. The event will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Hope to see you there!

The Inside Scoop

There are all sorts of photo tips, tutorials and blogs out there to keep you busy from now until Kingdom come. With that said, I've found one that I've started to check out on a more regular basis. Some of you might recognize Scott Kelby's name: I recommend his books in class all the time. Well, he's got a nice blog that you ought to see.
